Re: Pinus bungeana

I planted one from a 2" tube 4 years ago...it didn't do well on a sunny
south-facing, sandy bank for 3 years, so I moved it to a wet-in-winter but
fast draining, dry-in-summer location with partial shade and an occasional
bucket of water. I hasn't done anything and I monitor it frequently--is it
dead or isn't it? I am very disappointed in my results. Are there special
growth requirements for this coveted tree?
