Cladrastis lutea should bloom at about 15' in height (according to
Dirr's Manual of Woody Landscape Plants).
Like a lot of crabapples, yellowwoods don't bloom consistently from
year to year. Because of this you'll get a good display every second
or third year instead (and most likely the latter). I've seen
this pattern in Chicago at the Morton Arboretum and here in Champaign.
