Flowering of Davidia and Cladrastis

I am growing both Cladrastis lutea (pink flowered variety) and Davidia
involucrata (Dove tree).  Does anyone have any information regarding age at
flowering?  I've heard that the Davidia, in particular, does not flower
when young.  Thanks.
