Mahonia Charity is in its full-glory here. Pink almost luminous berries of
the spindle last well and brighten up the hedgerows as I drive to work on
dreary days ... perhaps these are not really winter plants with you, but
thought I'd add my pennyworth to an interesting thread. I also love the
rustle of Miscathus sacchiflorius, even after the green has gone from it,
which isn't yet.
