What kind of Mahonia is this? We have Mahonia (Creeping Mahonia - Berberis
repens that is found in the mountains and several dryland shrubs - Berberis
trifoliata, B. fendleri, B. algerita & B. fremontii) in New Mexico, but it
does not look as pretty as yours sounds! We are planting a hedgerow around
the meadow portion of our land (5 acres of woods and a small meadow) and we
are always on the lookout for interesting (drought resistant and tough!)
plants to add to it!
