Hello
I live on the east side of Oregon also. Last year I discover a shrup the
neighbor's refer to as an Oregon berry shrub. I do not know the techical name
for this but it is lovely this time of year with bright red stems and little
blue berries. I am told they are a bit bitter but edible and the children I
noticed had stains all over their hands and face. It is doing very well under
two pine trees.
