Okay, what would I look for to see if it is a Buxus? I bought several but none had names on them just yellow digging tape. Do all boxwoods smell? I guess I will have to go play detective. My friend Betty Walker does not have this one in her collection. She has been a member of the Boxwood Society for a long time. I get care packages(cuttings) from her every time I go to see her nursery and 200 year boxwoods.

Nancy, I ran this by some of my university hort friends and got this reply: On 10/8/2011 2:24 PM, snyderl wrote:Ron I checked all my Boxwood varieties and none of them show an indented apex in the leaf! I would question that this plant is indeed a Boxwood. Although both are opposite the English, Asian, Japanese, Korean and Swedish Boxwoods all have a pointed apex.-------- Original Message -------- Subject: Buxux Date: Fri, 7 Oct 2011 16:18:12 -0500From: Hal or Nancy Robinson<robyn82@bellsouth.net><r*@bellsouth.net> Reply-To:woodyplants@hort.net<w*@hort.net> <woodyplants@hort.net><w*@hort.net> To:woodyplants@hort.net<w*@hort.net> <woodyplants@hort.net><w*@hort.net>Does anyone recognize this boxwood?
