Hi all,
My aunt wants to plant a weeping cherry as a memorial to her
dog. The site could handle a tree 10-14' wide. I looked through
Dirr and he lists a couple of weeping cherries, one that matures
12' x 12' and one considerably larger. A trip to a local
nursery produced the opinion that the cherries they sell (no species or
cultivar name) will not get any taller or wider than they are (8' tall
by 3' wide) "They grow down, not up"
So, I would like some recommendations please.
Thanks!
Lisa
