Now is the best time to move your forsythia. You will probably end up with a
dozen plants and you may not get all the roots so next spring you will
probably have to dig those out. It will be a long job. I agree with
replacing it with something of full year interest. It is lovely in spring,
but is overused. I have known people who plant it at their summer home. And
some people give it a brush cut. Ugh!
