Since "Blue Bird" is a named cultivar, any seeds from this plant would
likely show considerable variability and not necessarily resemble the
parent . If you really want the blue color from this particular cultivar
which, in my opinion is only slightly bluer than the other cultivars, you
should either obtain a plant or at least get a cutting from a plant of
known color.
Also, Hibiscus sinosyriacus is an invalid name, refering only to H. syriacus.
