[Aroid-l] Asymmetrical leaf wilt on Amorphophallus -- problem?

I have an Amorphophallus konjac on which the leaf is starting to die back.  However, unlike the symmetrical leaf death I've seen in other Amorphs, this one is doing it starting from one side and working across, almost like the one side got blighted or is dying back for some reason other than end-of-life.

Is this typical behavior that I've just not seen until now?  Or should I be concerned and start looking for causes?  Below is a (very bad webcam) picture which shows what's happening.  It's a little hard to see (sorry, I didn't think to snap a good high-res digipic this morning) but you can see on the right-most plant how the left 1/3 has yellowed and collapsed.

Emacs!

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.
