Re: Aglaonema species or hybrid.

Dear Surawit,

Whereabouts in the wild in Thailand do A. brevispathum and A. simplex occur together. I have just completed the aroids for Flora of Thailand in collaboration with Wilbert, Guy & Niels and we have no sympatric records for these species, nor any record of this hybrid occurring in habitat. Any information you can give would be much appreciated, and will be acknowledged in the Flora account.

Many thanks

Peter

Dear John,

The plant is a Thai natural hybrid between A. brevispathum and A. simplex.
The particular clone is 'Chalit's Pride'.
