Re: [aroid-l] Typhoniums linked to God Numbers

Am I being a fool or do others also not understand why good ol' Ron writes
such a mysterious quote to a taxonomist?

I think you are ANYTHING but a fool. my take on this statement when i read it, is that for an amateur trying to keep up, taxonomy seems horribly complex. So one is grateful somebody else does it because it is SUCH A JOB. My husband who is actually quite fastidious about correct names, also claims from time to time to hate taxonomists, even tho i have a cousin who IS one. Anyway, this is how i interpreted the message when it first read it.

my great contribution to taxonomy is the removal of wrong labels.
