Subject : [Aroid-l] Intrageneric crossing?
Dear Marek,
The note that I tried sending to your personal address bounced back---I don`t know if anyone sent you the answer to your querry about Colletogene, it belongs to the tribe Arophyteae, a small group confined to Madagascar, only three genera, Arophyton, Carlephyton and Colletogene, one species in each genus.
Good Growing.
Julius
The Aglaonema group is discussing now if Dieffenbachia can be crossed with Aglaonema... I know that they belong to deiierent tribes and have different pollination biology, however the Group says to me that the Japanese crossed Alocasia x Colocasia (the same tribe). Does anybody know anything about this Alo-Colocasia hybrid?
