Hi,
Zantedeschia in Ecuador is a
diaphyte. It means that it is not native there but naturalized and gone
wild.

I will defend the presence of that particular Zantedeschia as
an Ecuadorian aroid. The parent species, yes, is absolutely from Africa.
However, the green-blooming version shown in the picture is a cultivar
developed in the town of Cayambe (just north of Quito), specifically for the
export flowers trade.
