Zantedeschia sprengeri

Aroiders:

In researching some of the new fancy flowered callas, many are being 
patented as selections or hybrids of Z. sprengeri.  I found this name 
originating in the Kew Bulletin in 1924, but not much else.  Any ideas 
if this is a valid species, and if so, where has it been hiding?  Any 
input would be most appreciated.
