Re: Zantedeschia sprengeri

Dear Tony,

It is listed as a synonym of Z. pentlandii in Kew World Checklist ...

Z. pentlandii was described in Gartenflora ... I can check tomorrow if there is a plate with the description if you are interested ...

With best regards,

David

In researching some of the new fancy flowered callas, many are being
patented as selections or hybrids of Z. sprengeri.  I found this name
originating in the Kew Bulletin in 1924, but not much else.  Any ideas
if this is a valid species, and if so, where has it been hiding?  Any
input would be most appreciated.
