Brian,
Can you describe your method for me? What is the stalk like? Is it
similar to a Dieffenbachia cane? I haven't seen an A. macrorrhiza stalk so
I'm just trying to get an idea if it is similar enough for me to use your
method for my A. micholitziana 'Frydek'.
