The spadix on Mr. Stinky has been a little darker each time it has bloomed, but it might partly be the pictures. Audrey III had a very light golden colored spadix, thought Mr. Stinky was almost a medium gray brown tone, darker towards the tip, but just before he bloomed the color lightened quite a bit.

has anyone here noticed the two different types of
amorphophallus titanum? Both of Mr.Allen's titanums seem
to have a very thick dark spadix, While The Bonn Botanical
garden has an a.titanum with a very tall yellow spadix.Has
this been documented? Do they come frome different parts
oF Sumatra?
