Hi experts,
I would like to know how to name parts of a
fruit.
I took some photos of Zantedeschia cultivar's
single fruit and a seed.
The seed is connected with the fruit body by
placenta.
Is (are?) placenta the "connecting cable" visible
in the single seed photo?
The placenta can be basal, parietal and other. What
type are they in Zantedeschia?
Where can I find aroid fruits' drawings or photos
with the detail names?
Best,
Marek
