I just wanted to share some info regarding the
Titan that bloomed at the Huntington Botanic Gardens
a couple of weeks ago.

The L.A. Times estimated that 63,000 people came to
the Gardens just to see the big stinky plant--most of
them people who had never been to the Huntington before.

A guy who really made out like a bandit is the fellow
who owns the nearest fast food joint to the Gardens.
He was swamped with business from Titan-viewers. (Guess
they didn't lose their appetites!)
