Columnar junipers

I am looking to landscape and I have seen columnar junipers while searching the internet. I live in NJ (zone 6). Would you have any information regarding these trees as to care, size at maturity, best soil type, and any other information. Would nurseries in the NJ, Philadelphia area carry these trees?
