Help w/ Pee Gee Hydrangea

I bought a Pee Gee Hydrangea at the end of the summer last year. It had
blooms and looked really healthy. It is now April 13 and I'm not seeing any
new growth on it. Is it too soon or should be seeing some kind of growth,
buds???? Please let me know.
