[cg] NYC Community Garden Events This Weekend

Community Gardeners:

Don't forget to come to NYC to support the community gardeners of NYC
in protecting over 100 gardens slated for auction by their Mayor. A
coalition of NYC garden and environmental groups have planned a three
day event starting this Friday, April 9, at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church
on the lower eastside.

The American Community Gardening Association will be represented as speakers
both at the conference as well as at the rally which follows on Saturday.

The attached documents are Press Releases ACGA has put together to help
generate support for the events. Please use them at your will. If you have
contacts at any media, please send them. Of course, they are of most
interest to NYC media, but one never knows. Of course, the pertinent
information for the events are included in the releases. Please check out the
information and plan to join the NYC community gardeners.
