If we're going to increase membership, particularly active membership, the board really has to consider that they represent the members in some way and are not our ruling junta.
The ruling group phenomenon has long been a part of the ACGA's ethos and has been counterproductive for years.
I love the idea of "locals" and especially that these local/regional groups would s/elect the majority of board members.
