Please go to the ACGA website:  American Community Gardening Association  and go to  ACGA: Starting a CG . Read as much as you can. Have a stiff drink before you go to bed and sleep on it.

If you can find about 50 other individuals like yourself who are willing to be worker bees instead of passengers, you may have something there.

Hello group!
I work for the City of Fife (Between Tacoma &Seattle) and am going to start a community garden.  I have NEVER been a part of this type of community activity or program but can say that I am truely excited.  I think this will be the project that pulls our community together.  Is there anyone around me that can give me some direction or pointers of the WHO, WHAT, WHEREs for starting a garden in my area?
