Gardeners in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout much of Northern
California might be interested in the TV premiere of my community garden
documentary "A Lot in Common" on KQED-TV Channel 9, this Sunday 7/27 at noon. Described
today by the SF Chronicle as "a poignant tale of camaraderie and community,"
the San Jose Mercury said to "Think of it as a sort of 'Tales of the City' with
trowels..." ACGA has endorsed the project and has played an integral role in
its production. There will be a screening at the conference next week in
Chicago, along with press kits for anyone interested in using local broadcasts of
this show around the country to promote ACGA and your own local greening
group or garden. "A Lot in Common," coming to your local public television
station in early 2004 through American Public Television. Thanks! Rick Bacigalupi,
producer
