this is a site mentioned on C-SPAN this morning, 6/2/03.  Energy renewal
amendment is to be included in Energy Bill.  See this page for info.  The
Petro people want to stop subsidies for rich farmers... according to a
lobbyist for the petroleum industry not cost the taxpayers more.  HA, as a
feminist and organic gardener, I would rather subsidize retooling our
vehicles to better use a renewable fuel source than support the Extremist
Islamics in Iran and Saudi Arabia.  This is a gardening thing.  Rodale and
OGF championed this decades ago.
