accessible raised beds

I am installing a community garden at a facility for those with spinal cord and brain injuries-any ideas on raised bed specs. materials used AND a safe material for pathways-we have walkers wheelchairs and some unsteady neighbors-also looking to invite the community to join us-anybody in Ulster county NY?amy @ the northeast center
