Hello all--
[big apologies for cross-postings]
No, it's not election-related.
I'm looking for a way to combine my interest in food and agriculture
issues with my research and writing skills. I'd be in seventh heaven if
I could spend all day doing online and print searches, synthesizing and
reporting the data for someone *and* see communities benefit as a
result. Instead of the journalism or academic route, I'd like work
directly with organizations who can use the info. I've had brief
experience with grantwriting, which I enjoy, but still my favorite part
is digging out the supporting details. Gathering material into a
library or database would be very satisfying too.
Does anyone have any tips, leads, advice for me? (Other than, "Finish
that thesis, already!")
Many thanks,
Lisa
