AFTA Public Art List ON BEHALF OF LIZA BLAIR
If anyone has experience with, or knowledge of, groups who have
successfully created and installed community gardens as part of an
artist residency program, would you please share this information with
us (i.e. sample guidelines, time-frame- budget, etc.)? The Association
for Visual Artists (AVA) is a mid-size arts organization with a strong
history of community-based art residences, however, this is the first
time the organization will be collaborating with local neighborhoods
to build site-specific communal gardens. Suggestions are greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Liza Blair
