RE: KSU contacts?

Amanda,

While the KSU library may not be as helpful as you would like in getting
copies of the cg theses/dissertations ( copyright concerns, most likely)here
is the academic directory which could access the professors who mentored the
cg theses and dissertations.

http://www.k-state.edu/Directories/academic.html

Another person to contact ( especially as these dissertations may be
copyright)is their copyright compliance person. With a letter explaining the
project ( creating a central repository or community garden research, the
exposure KSU scholarship would get, etc.)you might get positive results.
Worth a try.

Subject: [cg] KSU contacts?

Is anyone on the listserve associated with Kansas State University in
any way? There are a number of community garden theses and
dissertations from there that we'd like to get ahold of... Drop me a
line if you 1) wrote one of them, 2) have access to them, 3) know who to
contact to get access to them, etc. They're generally non-circulating
from university libraries and most are not available electronically yet.
(The ones I want are from the early 90's, mainly).

Amanda
