Local Brooklyn Queens Land Trust Garden Event
Compost Workshop; Bulb and Houseplant Sale

When: 10-19-2003
Where: David Foulke Memorial Community Garden
Bergen Street (between Bond & Nevins Sts.

Sunday, there will be composting and houseplant workshops at the garden. Master gardeners/ composters will lead the workshops and answer questions.
Olympus Garden Club will sell houseplants and the neighborhood block association will sell bulbs.


The David Foulke Memorial Community Garden is a member of the Brooklyn Queens Land Trust (BQLT) and is located on: Bergen Street (between Bond & Nevins Sts., closer to Nevins), in Brooklyn, NY . The garden is 3 lots from Nevins - corner on South side of Bergen St.

Travel (subway) directions:

''A'' Hoyt/Schemerhorn, walk up Bond Street to Bergen, make left at Bergen
''G'' Hoyt/Schemerhorn, walk up Bond Street to Bergen, make left at Bergen

''F'' Bergen, walk East to Garden

2, 3, 4, 5 to Nevins Street, walk along Nevin's St about 7 blocks South and make right on Bergen
2, 3, 4, 5 to Atlantic Ave, walk along Atlantic to Nevins, make left, walk south to Bergen Street and then right on Bergen
