Hello Brian,
I often use U of Mass for soil testing however the only heavy metal that is included in their standard test is lead. You would have to find out what else they test for and the cost. You may ask the Extension in Utah if they do soil testing or if they have a private lab they could recommend. I've used a private lab to get results on other types of metals in the soil and asked the staff at that lab more in-depth questions about the results. They were very helpful (ie. beyond just the sheet of paper with results). My understanding is that the standards that you will find are going to be more for industry - agriculture or using sewadge sludge etc.
Good luck,
Lynn Gregor
