Bulldozers in the Bronx - Ecotourism Opportunity


Ecotourism opportunity in the canyons of lower Manhattan!
If any of you are going to be in NYC this coming Monday, the 18th of
September, the Neighborhood Open Space Coalition and other garden groups
will be protesting the NYC Housing Preservation and Development agency's
proposed razing of 10 Bronx Community Gardens. I expect to be there during
my lunch hour. Hope to see ya!

HPD is planning to bulldoze 10 community gardens in the Bronx. To protest
this unconscionable act and to show your support for the Bronx United
Gardeners, come to the press conference to be held on Mobday, Sept. 18th at
12:30 p.m. on the steps of City Hall. The larger the demonstration the
louder the message to the City Council members who ae scheduled to vote on
these development palns at 1PM.
