There is an article on Hmong gardening project in a book called The
Meaning of Gardens. edited by Mark Francis and Randolph T. Hester Jr.
published by M.I.T. press. The project, essentially a backyard sharing
project, was initiated by The University of California Cooperative
Extension in Humboldt County.
Hope this helps.
