We are moving to the Baltimore area and are wondering if there are any community gardens in the area or a 1 hour radius or so. In checking the website, there is a garden in Silver Spring, which has a website, but it is the only one listed for the state.
Also interested in any of the following which may or may not be community garden related (if not you could reply privately).
Farmer's markets
Natural food stores
Garden clubs--general or any specialty topics
Ecologically oriented groups--preservation, hiking,
wildflower, birding, letterboxing, orienteering,
boating, permaculture, bay rehabilitation, etc.
Social interest orproductivity groups which are
oriented to healthy/nature/ecology
actitivities--simplicity,
frugality, soup kitchens/gardens, kids cafe,
square mile living
