Hi Andy,
For community gardens in Australia there are two websites which you may find
useful - http://www.magna.com.au/~pacedge/garden/index.html
This website will be undergoing an update but has excellent contacts and
info
cultivating-community-melb@yahoogroups.com
This is a community org in Melbourne doing great gardens in housing estates
and schools among other places. They will have a website soon.
There is all sorts of interesting community garden work being done all over
the country, from live in farms to suburban gardens and co-ops, schools...
There is also a number of permaculture groups doing a lot of food garden
work in the suburbs and some councils are starting to plant fruit trees and
public areas...
Tamsin
