Re: Platycerium superbum

Hi Roy

To me is seems the differences Dan mentioned for P. grande are logic for the
early stages.  The later spore patch is a real deceider.  I was confused for
many years till I saw an image in your book of the divided spore patch on
the one frond.

Last year my lobed had a divided spore patch too, about its 6th, never did
it again, but it is only young yet perhaps 6 or so years old.

I am looking for an image of a Philippines P. grande spore patch for my fern
page, any takers!!
