RE: Tree-fern query from Hawaii


From the first photograph I could see it is the "Mules Foot Fern". 
Forestry hates them, Hawaiian Ag. hates them, ... but we have planted one
and have not found it to be invasive...perhaps 2 miles up wind?  We have
had ours for 3 years now.

I must look up Mr. Hurd... Aloha Carol, on the Big Island, close to Hilo.
