Cathy, Yucca sprouts very easily from root cuttings (or I guess maybe
they're rhizomes..) So separating them from the mother plant and potting
them for a little while should be OK. Jims Fischer & Singer, does that
sound correct? I created many new varigated Yuccas from root cuttings.
