Pam, I have CHows, they are just as furry, if not more so. Mine do fine,
they are acclimated to the temperatures. The fur acts like an insulation to the
cold AND the hot weather, so they get less hot than a short haired animal. I
do bring them in if the temps or heat index are in the 3 digits. They also
have plenty of shade with the trees, etc. I think it is what an animal (or
human) is used to.
