email disaster

In the wee hours of last morning, I cleverly deleted my entire inbox
while trying to compact the durn thing.  That's one way to take care
of backed up email, but not the way I would have liked to do it...had
stored a lot of stuff I wanted in that folder - nearly 2000 messages
gone...poof!

Anyway, if anybody has emailed me privately in the last month or so
and not received a reply, please let me know....I was so far behind
in the first place it wasn't funny......sheesh!  I need a keeper!
