That's a good photograph; it occurs to me that you could send it on to
Milton Carpenter, a former president of the Am. Orchid Soc. He bred and
sold this kind of thing for 40 years from his nursery in Belle Glade.
It might be one of his, and he might be able to put a grex name to it.

It's a hybrid of at least Brassia (from the long, narrow sepals amd
petals) and Brazilian Miltonia (from the elaborate and strongly colored
lip). If it has only those two genera, it would be a Miltassia. Did it
come from Selby ?
