I'm right there with you all....sports....pfffftttttttttt. The amount of
money that goes into sports boggles my mind. I've seen fine arts get
dumped in favor of more sports. No balance there.

I guess I'm the odd man out. I hardly ever watch any television
except for football games, and I haven't watched too much of
that this year since I can't knit any longer. I have to have something
to keep my hands busy while I watch. Chet watches the news
each evening, but in his downstairs office. If there is a Mystery
on PBS I may watch it, but most of the series I used to enjoy have
changed or are no longer showing. I don't much like the new
Miss Marple. I sometimes think I am out of touch with the world,
but then I feel maybe I don't really want to be in touch. But I do
love a good football game - always have.
