I don't remember the ants from my peonies ever coming inside. In fact the only time I ever have any ants in the house is after a whole lot of rain (like now), and that's only temporary.

My mother used to have them right outside my bedroom.... and all I remember
is all the darn ants... and I am not going to have that same problem of
fighting ants in my home.
And until this discussion came up, never really thought about having some in
the back 40, so to speak....definitely not near the building!
