I never seem to get around to the sale part of the plan. I never seem to have enough salable plants at any one time to have a sale--I start out okay, but along the way, some go to Fatma's school, others to friends, etc. and before I know it, nada. I started a dozen cuttings of Gynura crepioides a month or so ago, then gardeners in California and Louisiana picked up on my boasting about them and asked for some. Now I have three left [one of the 12 died], which I'll pot up for the garden club.

These cuttings, incidentally, were dunked in Clonex. 92 percent rooting is pretty good I think.

We seem to be getting the southern end of that storm now--it's raining, but 70 degrees. It's advertised to be quite chilly tomorrow [mid to low 50s]. Hope they're wrong about that!

Local garden club has sent out a request for plants for its mid-April plant sale. Looks like an opportunity to move out a bunch of cuttings I've made, potted, and grown on, but didn't know what to do with.
