I get a bit kick out of him when he's not driving me nuts -- kind of like having a small child in residence.
I know what you mean. That's why we're not taking in any more pups. At my age I can't handle it anymore, much as I love to watch them run and play.

Plenty of mature dogs that need homes anyway, like the 11 year old we adopted a couple of years ago. I hadn't planned on one that old, but I thought he deserved to spend his last days lolling on a sofa instead of lying on a cold concrete floor. I'm sure another such will come into our lives sometime.

Congrats on the blooms! Such a nice surprise during frigid winter weather.
