Re: Beautiful>Since

I would have been committed by now if I even thought about keeping up with your schedule!

Sometimes I am not sure how I keep the schedule I do.... my boss feels bad
about the situation I am currently in, but there isn't anything he can do
about it other than what he is. (btw, along with paying me, he is also going
to comp me hours so I can go unwind when this is over)

Free time to do what
you want is very important. I haven't had any lately, so I am getting very crabby. I currently have almost 5,000 messages to decide what to do with...
read, delete, respond. My goal was to get most of this done tonight, but
after starting yesterday at 4:30am work, leaving early to drive 2.5 hours to a wake, late dinner, then return drive and getting home at midnight, back up and
moving at 7am to help mother, then off to lunch with friends, a bit of
shopping, then home, made dinner, working on laundry, ... I am about to call
it a night. And I wonder why I am so tired!

Donna,I
could never handle the workload you have.

You're right. It's just that I'd
hoped this year would be better. The Hort
Ed did get me some help in a
couple of other things I do, but only because I
told him I wasn't doing them
this year - period.

I'm guessing if I can't get them to take certain
responsibilities, I will do
them because they have to be done. However, to
make up for all that extra
time, I'll forgo much of the group activity. I
really need to keep some of
my free time for myself this year.

Congrats Auralie... Your club is something to
be proud of!

I have been
involved with many clubs for various hobbies,
not just gardening. Seems
the
same, only a small percentage are active
members, always the same folks
doing
all the work.

Jim... well I have
been up to my arm pits in work. Gotta an
auditor who wants to see
everything for X amount of years... and that is
taking a lot of my time,
especially since I have to also do my regular
work....along with finishing
up some major changeovers that were started
before I knew she was coming...
sigh. Then add weather related issues,
trying
to keep my sanity by
spending some time with family and friends....
well....
just not enough
hours in the day.

Kitty- They couldn't survive without
you!....
Sometimes you just have to let things get mucked up so they
realize
you
are not super women....give them notice that you are not doing it and
if

no one steps forward it won't happen.... then don't give in and do it all!

Ceres- congrats on being Pres.... hope they don't over work you... do you

have
a good VP to help?

Zem- sorry to hear about the ice storm... they
are the
worst! It is a shame someone won't step forward so the club can
continue,
but
I also understand- enough is enough... someone else's
turn..

Donna
