Bonnie, I went through the cancer thing winter of 08. Thanks to all on this list and many others who send prayers and good vibs my way all is well. There was a tumor on the side of my neck and surgery could not remove it for it sat on the nerves that control the left side of my face and head. So, radiation and chemo both. Began in November and lasted until mid-February. Will not go into all the details here, but if you want to call or email in private would be glad to chat about the experience. Every experience is different, but no nausea for me...ate everything but the kitchen table legs. Just weak... very weak toward the last of treatments and after for about 6 months. Don't anyone talk you out of your feelings... it is scary. Gene E. I will take any prayers and good wishes. Had my 1st post-op today and tubes are now out. Yes!!! Shower will be easy. Thursday afternoon, I meet with the oncologist and discuss and arrange treatment. From what my surgeon said, it won't be over until around July. So, I just want to get started and get through it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
